Marriage, by definition, is a union between two people. It’s got nothing to do with love, on a technical note.
This isn’t going to be a long blog post, but I pose a question you might want to ask: what does love have to do with it. If the definition of the very thing you’re entering into doesn’t mention love, why is love so important.
I’m not saying it isn’t important. Love is. But it’s adjunct to the core purpose: union.
I’d love to hear your response on this one, I think the more we talk about it the deeper our understanding of this crazy thing called marriage will get.
