Mentoring and helpful resources for wedding creators, celebrants, and officiants
Wedding Celebrant Business Coach
When I became a celebrant I felt like I was walking into the wedding industry as an alien where the existing celebrants and creators didn’t welcome me, there was no support, mentoring, or coaching for new celebrants, and being fresh and new was frowned upon.
I made a commitment then to provide the opposite of that for new, aspiring, and existing celebrants because I believe that a rising tide lifts all ships.
The Celebrant Institute
The leading professional development body for Australian marriage celebrants. A membership program, podcast, email subscription, and helpline for Aussie wedding celebrants in partnership with my friend Sarah Aird.
Aisle Authority
A daily letter to the best wedding creators in the world. Encouraging and helpful emails to drive you to grow to be, and strive to be, the best in your field. Aimed at the global wedding market, but free for all to read and benefit from.
Coaching
Mentoring and coaching to help you achieve business and lifestyle goals in your wedding business. My two most popular services are
full-day intensive session
ten fortnightly coaching sessions
The goal isn’t to replicate me and my success, but to lead you to your own by leveraging my insight, care, and almost two decades of wedding industry experience.
I’m obsessed with not just delivering value for my coaching clients but also leading a generation of wedding creatives with the same obsession to doing meaningful and important work, not just for their couples but also for their own lives.
I believe that the most fruitful celebrancy practice and wedding business is born out of a healthy and balanced lifestyle, with a business built on the back of meaningful systems, a designed customer journey, and automations designed to serve the celebrant and their clients to the upmost levels of service and quality.
If you don’t receive the expected amount of value from our coaching sessions, I’ll offer you your money back.
Intensive coaching day
The way we work with an intensive day is that we have a scope meeting a week or two out so we can make a plan and some goals, and to give me time to do preparation work, and for you to get things in order you’ll want to get in order, then we’ll come to the intensive coaching day and we’ll hit the list of goals we’d like to achieve that day, put in a solid eight hours, then a follow up meeting a week or two after.
The idea is to figure out all the nerdy, product, technological, ways I can help, then to teach you to do it in a day so you can run at a better pace.
This is an effective and easy way to create monumental change in your practice.
$2200 inc GST for online session, or in hobart, coaching can also be delivered in person at your location at the cost of flights and accomodation
fortnightly coaching sessions
The way we work through a coaching block of systems is to make a plan and set goals that help you achieve the systems, automations, whilst forming product strategies and go-to-market strategies so you can be the most productive and doing the deep work where you bring the most value.
The fortnightly sessions hold a greater sense of accountability as we meet each fortnight for 60-90 minutes and work through your business, then setting homework for the fortnight ahead.
Over the course of the next five to six months you become equipped and coached in meaningful skills and technological systems to allow you to operate the business as you need.
$2200 inc gst for 10 sessions, meeting online fortnightly, meeting times can be adjusted accounting for schedule and life getting in the way
by the hour, like a plumber
When Steve Albini pitched Nirvana on producing In Utero he said “I would like to be paid like a plumber: I do the job and you pay me what it's worth”.
You can pay me like a plumber too.
$250 inc gst per 80 minute session (because I can never just go for an hour), meeting online or in person if that works out geographically

Email
I'm a really big fan of Melbourne company, Fastmail, for providing my email services. They are trustworthy, run a great business, and email is their speciality. Plus you can get support from real people. Google has deactivated and deleted too many accounts for me to trust them anymore. This Fastmail referral link gives you a 10% discount.

Travel eSIM cards
When I travel internationally I use Airalo eSIM cards. The tip is to keep your AussieSIM card in there but turn off roaming whilst enabling wifi-calling. It keeps your iMessage and Facetime intact whilst not costing you an arm and a leg. If you're on wifi internationally the SIM acts as if you are in Australia, but then the local eSIM I purchase through Airalo gives me great access to local mobile data networks. My referral code gifts you a $3 credit on your purchase of an eSIM card.
