What does it cost?

There are two genuinely different services here. $700 is my minimum charge for paperwork only: the required legal ceremony, marriage paperwork, and registration, without a personalised ceremony, creative work, or the full production setup.

If you want the Josh Withers ceremony — created for you, delivered with the special sauce, sound, planning, and care — I build the quote around what you actually need. Most personalised ceremony bookings are about$2,200, with larger, interstate, destination, and ceremony-plus-MC bookings reaching$5,000+. Tell me what you are planning first; I would rather recommend the right service than sell you a pile of extras.

A personalised Josh ceremony can include:

• I create your ceremony from scratch — no recycled scripts, no templates. Every word is yours.
• All of the legal paperwork (NOIM, declarations, certificates, BDM lodgement) is handled end-to-end.
• A proper pro PA system, wireless mics, and a backup setup come standard so your guests actually hear the vows.
• Pre-wedding planning calls and any help I can provide along the way.
• A rehearsal, if you want one, may be added to the quote.
• Options range from a simple elopement or paperwork-only signing through to full ceremony plus MC for the reception.
• Travel is the biggest variable — a Tasmanian wedding is priced differently to a Perth or Cairns ceremony, a destination elopement, or an overseas wedding.
• Every quote includes GST and marriage registration costs and is locked in once you book — no surprises.
• For a personalised ceremony, a $700 part-payment secures the booking and is credited to the total.
