Award-winning Queensland marriage celebrant Josh Withers
Hi! I'm Josh Withers!
From Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta, Broadbeach to the Hinterland, I create awesome weddings! I am a male millennial marriage celebrant ready to create a fun wedding ceremony for you!
A pairing almost as perfect as the two of you
I believe your ceremony should be the absolute highlight of your wedding day. I put in the effort to ensure it's personal, heartfelt, fun, and memorable for everyone.
Your walk down the aisle and the moment you say 'I do' should feel completely natural. Forget the stress and awkwardness people warn you about—with me, it'll feel as easy as a sunny day on the Gold Coast.
I team up with your photographers and videographers to ensure the ceremony is captured beautifully, so the recorded moments match the in-person magic.
I offer four main packages, and the most popular is the combo where I'm both your celebrant and your MC for the reception. You can also book me just as a celebrant for weddings, elopements, or registry-style ceremonies.
We'll need to meet at least once to sort out the legal paperwork before the wedding, but I'm happy to meet as often as you need—either face-to-face or online—to make sure everything feels just right.
To get married in Queensland, you must be 18 or older, not currently married, not closely related, and entering the marriage willingly. You'll also need proof of your date and place of birth and evidence of any previous marriages ending.
Australian law requires at least one month's notice before you can marry. When it comes to booking your celebrant, earlier is better—most couples secure their celebrant 9 to 18 months in advance.
Anyone can get married in Queensland, regardless of nationality, religion, gender, or citizenship, as long as you meet the legal requirements and are 18 or older.
The Gold Coast enjoys a subtropical climate with around 300 days of sunshine per year, making it perfect for outdoor ceremonies. While summer afternoon storms are common, the region offers plenty of stunning indoor backup options if needed.
With its stunning chapel and waterfront location, this prestigious resort offers multiple ceremony locations and reception venues for elegant Gold Coast weddings.
A contemporary venue featuring architectural excellence and stunning views of the Gold Coast skyline, perfect for artistic and modern celebrations.
Nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland, this beautiful property offers a chapel, gardens, and vintage charm for romantic countryside weddings.
The epitome of luxury and sophistication, offering spectacular waterfront ceremony locations and opulent reception spaces.
A charming white chapel surrounded by tropical gardens, offering an intimate setting for romantic ceremonies.
Say I do with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gold Coast from Australia's only beachside observation deck.
Located in the stunning Lamington National Park, offering a magical rainforest setting for nature-loving couples.
A unique venue offering natural outdoor settings and the chance to include native wildlife in your special day.
