Nicky Johnston Illustration
Melbourne, Victoria
Melbourne artist Nicky Johnston creates live guest illustrations at weddings, painting personalised watercolour portraits during the celebration.
Nicky created live guest illustrations at Deb and Mickey’s wedding at Encore St Kilda Beach on 18 September 2026. Liam X Quinn photographed her at work; his image appears on this page and in their wedding gallery.
Her live guest illustration service starts with a photograph of each guest or couple. Nicky uses that as a reference to create an original watercolour illustration on A6 paper. Guests can enjoy the celebration while she paints, then collect their finished artwork.
It gives guests something personal from the day, as well as a chance to watch an artist work. Visit Nicky’s website for her current packages, process and availability across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
