Josh is a professional, genuine, and charming celebrant.It was important to us to have a ceremony that was intimate, authentic and without any awkwardness or pomp. We could have very easily had a ceremony and celebrant that read from a script, or verses from a book but we did not feel that that reflected us as individuals and as a couple. Josh made us feel at ease by asking us if there was anything we particularly liked/disliked about ceremonies, and if there is anything we particularly wanted/didn’t want. We were all on the same page about it being short, simple and sincere.My (now!) husband and I left our first meeting so happy and comfortable in the knowledge that Josh would be marrying us because we shared similar views of the significance of marriage/weddings/ceremonies. Josh shared with us that he believes that words significantly build the foundation of marriage, and encouraged us to share personal vows with each other in front of our most important people.Our ceremony was exactly what we had imagined - no awkwardness, personal, funny, and filled with love. He came equipped with all his own AV equipment, and we even took the drone for a spin!He is so personally invested in supporting couples that he shared with us that he can only emotionally commit to marrying one couple a day. After our short ceremony, Josh stayed with us during our photo session, and also came back for dinner and drinks with our friends and family. He was our friend at our first meeting, and celebrated as family after we were married.
