Licensed for weddings in Tasmania’s National Parks
Get married in Tasmania’s national parks legally & beautifully. We’re licensed to help you elope responsibly in wild, stunning places.
When you’re planning your wedding or elopement in Tasmania, you probably don’t want to think about paperwork. You want to think about getting married on a windswept clifftop, under a mossy forest canopy, or beside a wild, empty beach.
That’s where we come in.
What Being a PWS Licence Holder Means
The Elopement Collective and I (Josh Withers, celebrant) are licensed by the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service to conduct weddings and elopements in Tasmania’s national parks and reserves.
This licence isn’t just a piece of paper. It’s permission from the people who protect Tasmania’s wild places, allowing us to help you get married in some of the most beautiful spots in the state — legally and responsibly.
Why This Is Good News for You
🌿 You Get Access to Stunning, Protected Locations
Many of Tasmania’s most breathtaking elopement spots are inside national parks and reserves. Because we’re licensed, we can help you say your vows in these places while following the rules that protect them for everyone.
Permits Still Required
While each wedding still needs an individual application for your specific location and date, having us as your licensed team streamlines the process. We know the system, we know the people, and we can guide you through it easily.
You’re Covered, We’re Covered
Being licensed means we operate with the right insurances, risk management, and environmental safeguards required by Parks & Wildlife Tasmania. It means we’re not just sneaking in and hoping no one notices — we’re doing this properly.
We Care About The Tasmanian Wilderness
We don’t just want to use these landscapes as backdrops. We care about them. Having this licence means we agree to look after the places you love, so you can get married there without worrying that you’re causing damage.
Why It Matters for Your Ceremony
Your wedding isn’t just about the photos. It’s about a moment, a place, and the meaning you attach to both.
Being licensed means we can create that moment in Tasmania’s national parks with the confidence that we’re allowed to be there, and that your ceremony is being held with respect for the land and the people who care for it.
