A hidden gothic temple nestled in the lush Villa Celimontana gardens, just a short walk uphill from the Colosseum in Rome.
Villa Celimontana gardens, Rome, Italy
Tucked away in one of Rome’s most peaceful parks, the Tempio Gotico is a romantic and hidden gem perfect for an intimate wedding or elopement. Located in the Villa Celimontana gardens—just uphill from the Colosseum—this gothic temple brings old-world charm to the heart of the Eternal City. It’s quiet, private, and radiates that effortlessly iconic Roman beauty, without the crowds.
I was there with The Elopement Collective at sunrise and it was peaceful, quiet, beautiful, serene, and so special. Highly recommended as a Rome elopement location! Through summer the sun rises behind the temple so you get even shade on the ceremony in the early morning, and dappled light through the afternoon though the park will be beusy in the afternoon.
I'd love to create a beautiful ceremony for you at this stunning location
