Byron Bay Lighthouse

A stunning clifftop venue overlooking the Pacific Ocean, where I've created intimate ceremonies with breathtaking views.

Australia, New South Wales
Lighthouse Road, Byron Bay, NSW 2481
Beach Landmark Outdoor

The Byron Bay Lighthouse stands majestically on Australia’s most easterly point. I’ve married couples here as the sun rises over the Pacific Ocean, creating truly magical moments.

My Experience Here

I’ve officiated 7 weddings at this iconic location, each with its own unique story. The natural beauty of this spot makes for incredible ceremony backdrops and unforgettable photos. You can get married at the top of the hill with the Lighthouse when you obtain a permit, or my favourite location is at the bottom near Little Wategos Beach.

Venue Highlights

  • Panoramic ocean views
  • Dolphin and whale sightings (seasonal)
  • Historic lighthouse setting
  • Sunrise ceremony options
  • Close to Byron Bay town center

Planning Tips

The lighthouse is a popular tourist spot, so early morning or weekday ceremonies work best for privacy. A permit is required from the National Parks service, which I can help guide you through.
